• How are these brews better than tea bags?

  Most tea bags available off the shelf contain dust and fannings from broken herbs/leaves (basically lowest quality by products in the tea/herb production chain). Nomad brews are dried full leaf herbs that retain the essential oils and natural antioxidants packed in the ingredients. (what you see is what you drink).

• Do these teas contain caffeine?

  Our Herbal teas - The Liquid gold, Big bang and Deep Cleanse are 100% caffeine free and are safe to consume at any time of the day without interfering with the sleep, digestion and other hormonal processes.

• Where are the herbs sourced from?

  The herbs are sourced from small farms with access to healthy soil, We work closely with these small farms across stages from planning, growing and packaging. Our partner farmers are located across Uttrakhand, Assam, Sikkim and Karnataka.

• Are the flavors natural?

  All ingredients and flavors mentioned are made with 100% natural ingredients. We want to ensure the brews are best for your health and do not use any artificial flavors or preservatives.

• How to make?

  These brews are amazing when served both hot or iced.

  
  

  For hot brew -
  Boil water. Pour over 1 - 1.5 grams (1~2 tablespoon) of brew ingredients.
  Let it steep for 3-5 mins depending on the required depth of taste.
  Water temperature between 80-110ºC yields slightly different textures. You can experiment and find your sweet spot.

  
  

  For iced brew –
  Make a hot brew as above, add honey (iced brews are great when slightly sweetened) and chill (either refrigerate or pour over ice)

• How to store?

  It is important to keep teas away from 5 things – heat, light, moisture, odor and air.
  While the Nomad packaging provides protection from all the above, for even more effective protection and longer shelf life and retained taste, store the ingredients in an opaque airtight container, in a cool, dry environment.
  Keep away from cooking and boiling areas, dishwasher vents, waste bins, spice cabinets, other teas, refrigerators and direct sunlight.

• How long do the teas last for?

  If stored well, the teas are perfect for consumption up to 1 year from the time of first opening the seal.

• Best time of consumption?

  While these teas are fit to be consumed at any time of the day, the properties and taste profile have been developed with a recommend time of day in mind –
  
  Big Bang – Morning, sends blood to brain as you wake up
  
  Deep Cleanse – Slightly spicy profile with bay leaves makes it delicious in the afternoon
  
  Liquid Gold – Chamomile deeply relaxes the nervous system and Tulsi fights cortisol, the stress hormone leaving you ready to be tucked into sleep at night
